A panel of judges will carefully review each nomination and score submissions using a grading system. The nominee with the highest score will be declared the winner in their respective category. To ensure fairness and impartiality, any identifying information will be redacted during the judging process.
Please make sure to include plenty of detail and insight in your nominations, as this will significantly influence the judges’ scores.

The nominees balance tradition with innovation and maintain a strong connection to community spirit.
Open to all home-based businesses located in the Claresholm and district zone. Spotlighting a home-based business with consistently outstanding products and services, and a strong presence in Claresholm and district through community involvement.
Open to all local businesses with 1 to 9 employees within the Claresholm and district zone. Honouring an exceptional small business that demonstrates a strong sense of community spirit and support, and consistently strives to deliver exceptional results with unwavering commitment to performance excellence in their business. They are a shining example to the business community.
Open to all local businesses with 10 or more employees working in the Claresholm and district zone. Honouring an exceptional business that distinguishes itself through its unwavering commitment to performance excellence in their business, demonstrates community spirit and is a leader in the business community.
Open to all local businesses in operation within the Claresholm and district zone for less than 3 years. Celebrating a new business that demonstrates exceptional promise and creativity in their early years of operation. These newcomers have hit the ground running and are dedicated to proving themselves in the local community.
Open to all local businesses in operation for at least 15 years; may be awarded to a business or a sole proprietor. Recognizing a business with a legacy of positively impacting the Claresholm and district zone in distinct and memorable ways. The winner is a role model for new businesses, a community leader, and an integral part of our business community.
Open to all local female-owned or female-led businesses in the Claresholm and district zone. This award showcases a female business leader who displays exceptional leadership qualities, a commitment to helping other women succeed, a healthy work-life balance and who demonstrates a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
Open to all individuals under the age of 25 located in the Claresholm and district zone, this award recognizes a young professional who demonstrates exceptional leadership, initiative, innovation, and determination in their work or business pursuits. Whether they are building their own venture, leading within an organization, working as an independent professional, or creating impact through their career ambitions, this individual stands out for their strong work ethic, confidence in taking on challenges, and commitment to growth and success.
