Inclusion Foothills is a family advocacy organization committed to providing individuals with disabilities and their families support that contributes to an inclusive, meaningful life. Of utmost importance is creating a safe, non-judgemental space for all in offering support, education, and information. Services cover a range of programs/projects and change over time to meet the current needs of families and funding. Services include support groups, one-to one assistance, future planning, access to resources and more.
Inclusion Foothills also has an employment division: H.I.R.E. (Having Inclusive Rewarding Employment) offers free custom business support which includes employee awareness training, resources such as financial incentives, information, and strategies. Hiring a person who is registered with the H.I.R.E. project, a person with a disability, makes good business sense. An additional business support project is I.E.P. (Inclusive Employment Partnerships), whose main focus is building partnerships by raising awareness of the benefits of hiring persons with disabilities, helping you become an inclusive business or community. I.E.P. can provide information and resources on inclusive practices through “Let’s Break to Educate” sessions and presentations.
