Hello Chamber Members!
We are excited to kick off our Shop Local Campaign!
The first part will be a video campaign that will be your opportunity to highlight your services and passion for your business. You can showcase products, talk about how you support the community and direct people to your social media channels. These videos will serve as marketing materials to reach both local shoppers and travelers across Southern Alberta.

Claresholm & District Chamber of Commerce receives federal shop local funds
The Claresholm & District Chamber of Commerce will receive $17,460 of federal shop local funding—funding that will expand the chamber’s ongoing efforts to encourage patronage of community businesses.
“The funding will be utilized to spotlight local businesses, bring awareness for residents to support their neighbor and promote tourism,” says Amanda Zimmer, President. “Claresholm is exemplary in what it offers for retail, professional services, banking and investments, lodging, appetizing restaurants, real estate, recreation, arts, auto, personal services, and home based businesses. Claresholm & District Chamber of Commerce would like to thank the Federal government for providing the funding opportunity to support business.”
The funding will support a Shop Local campaign to provide a personal connection with the local business and owners that are an integral part of our community and showcasing their products and services in a unique way.
“Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, community chambers have truly been a lifeline for businesses,” says Ken Kobly, Alberta Chambers of Commerce President and CEO. “As we transition to reopening and recovery, we still have a long road ahead to rebuild our economy. This federal funding will help chambers do what we do best: support local job creators.”
