The Chamber has a busy September!
Thank you to everyone who sent in nominations for our Business Awards! Nomination packages will be sent out in the next couple of days to our top nominees. Those packages must be completed and returned by September 18 so the executive can decide on the winners on September 19.
We are holding a Strategic Planning Session on Saturday, September 8 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Putters. Anyone interested in helping to steer the direction the Chamber takes in the next years is invited to attend. Please RSVP to Amanda – president@claresholmchamber.ca by Thursday (tomorrow) so we have enough lunch for everyone!
September 12 is our next executive meeting at 5 p.m. at the Library.
September 19 is our next general meeting at 12 p.m., at Putters. Executive please plan to stay for another hour to choose the Business Award winners.
September 21/22 is our Claresholm Business Conference. Tickets are available at the Claresholm Local Press, EDO office and on our website. We need a few volunteers to help with set up on Friday and Saturday. Please contact Amanda if interested in volunteering.
October 17 is Small Business Week, and we will celebrate with our Claresholm Business Awards dinner. Angela Groenveld of Business Link will be our special guest to present a Tool Kit for Business in the face of change. Tickets for this event will be available next week, $25 for Members, $30 for non members.
